    AGSN switchgear is 12kV air-insulated switchgear featuring modular design. The switchgear uses

    Schneider AS12 three-position SF6 switches which are assembled in complete set factory, characterized

    by simple structure, flexible scheme, easy-to-use, high safety and reliability. Based on different applications

    and various user demands, satisfactory solutions will be provided.


    Medium-voltage/low-voltage Substation

    Definitions

    The followings are ASGN Series products used for medium-voltage/lowvoltage

    substations and industrial and mining power distribution stations

    ISC: load switch incoming line, outgoing line or connecting cabinet

    QSC: fuse + load switch combination cabinet

    ESC: Disconnector + vacuum circuit breaker cabinet

    PSC: voltage transformer cabinet

    GC: current/voltage metering cabinet

    DSC: dual power supply incoming line cabinet

    GB: bus lifting cabinet

    GA: incoming cable connection cabinet

    CSC: Transformer Cabinet for Substation

    Other cabinets: please consult with the manufacturer


    Normal Application

    The medium-voltage electric energy generated by power plant is transmitted to high-voltage power grid through MV/HV main transformer.

    In general, the electric power is transmitted to primary substation through overhead line.

    In HV/MV primary substation, the electric power is converted into medium voltage from high voltage.

    in MV/MV primary substation, the electric power is transmitted to several secondary substations at lower level. The circuit breakerplays an important role in power transmission and distribution.
